• After the consultation, you will receive a treatment plan within a couple of days. If you agree to it, then you can go ahead and book an appointment for the implantation in London or Budapest.  Arranging your visit to our dentistry in Budapest for dental treatment abroad takes approximately 2 weeks. If required, information on accommodation options and assistance with leisure activities are included, with the help of professional staff who all have a great knowledge of the city. If you have already booked your flight ticket, we might be able to finalise your dental holiday visit within a couple of hours.

• Ten days after implantation, we recommend that you come back to Forest&Ray for a check-up (removal of stitches, X-ray etc) This check up can be done by any suitably qualified dentist instead, if it saves you making a special trip to London.
• Then, four months after the implantation, the implant is uncovered and the temporary healing abutment is placed on the implant.  The impression for the final crown is then taken.

2-3 weeks later the permanent abutment will have set on the implant and the final crown can then be fitted as well

How long will my stay be in Budapest?

• Dental treatment abroad requires at least one visit to the practice in Budapest. You will be advised by your Hungarian dentist about the length of treatment and the number of visits required on your Dental Implant Consultation day.
• The condition of your teeth will be thoroughly assessed and a detailed treatment plan will be made, including the number of envisaged visits to the dentistry in Budapest.  This will be discussed with you during your consultation. Information regarding your dental tourism programmes will be discussed as well, to make your dental treatment abroad an enjoyable dental holiday.
• Dental implants in Hungary require an initial 5-7 day stay in Budapest and then a 6 day return to the dentistry in Hungary after 4- 6 months.
